NAIDOC week
Celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements, and recognising Indigenous culture.
NAIDOC is not only celebrated in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life.
Last week we celebrated by doing many different experiences. The Kindy room created some wonderful topics of conversations.
They made Damper, ate marshmellows from a fire they built together on the back block. The children read a different dream time stories everyday and following on from that there were some wonderful activities and conversations.
We will be attending the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day on August 4th at Mallee Park for more fun and learning.
